Our Awareness Campaign is increasing at Comin Vietnam and spreading throughout the group… Following the large campaign organized by the municipality of Ho Chi Minh city, Comin Vietnam has put in place at reception a box for you to drop used batteries last July. The batteries will be collected once a month and given to a dry-cell battery collector for appropriate treatment. A very same box was also recently installed in Hanoi and Danang, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap and Thailand. For those who are not aware, it has indeed been proven that consumed dry-cell battery wastes can cause serious hazards to human health and pollution to the environment in the long run due to chemical and radioactive substances. We are proud of this initiative and hope you all will fully take part in this campaign by placing your used batteries, either from work place or home, into the box provided at the reception.
